BALLView 1.2 will probably be released in late summer 2005 and brings some cool new features, among others:

  • QT 4 support
  • docking interface and algorithms
  • MMFF94 implementation
  • Improved Python interpreter
  • context sensitive BALL documentation
  • SMARTS support
  • field lines
  • volume rendering
  • export of images larger than the screen resolution
  • toon drawing mode
